Bio:

Hunter Burgamy is a 23 year old guitarist, bassist, and tenor banjoist from New Orleans, Louisiana. Deeply rooted in his native towns' traditions of blues, funk, and jazz, he aims to transcend genre through his musicianship by his interest in these roots, as well as contemporary and classical musics, and world folk musics, a passion of his.

He is a graduate of the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, with a background in classical and jazz theory and over a decades years experience in performance.

His music has taken him to perform throughout the major music and festival scene of New Orleans and New England, as well as cities throughout Cuba, Brasil, Iceland, Mexico, Canada, Spain, France, Japan, and others. Hunter has worked at New Orleans' legendary Preservation Hall and is a graduate of Berklee College of Music c/o 2018.
